Flip-Hop Dance Competition!

• Each dance team must be composed of a minimum of 3 dancers and a maximum of 12 dancers.
• All monies including registration fees, and waiver forms must be submitted prior to the on-stage blocking rehearsal on the day of the event. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
• Each dance team will keep the length of their performance within 4-6 minutes, from entrance to exit. Time begins once music begins and ends once the music ends. 
• Each team MUST integrate Filipino Music or Dance into their  routine to showcase the Philippine culture theme of Flip Hop.

**PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FILIPINO SEGMENT MUST BE AT LEAST 30 SECONDS LONG.

1. Philippine Festival Mississauga has the right to refuse performers and/or performances due to excessively vulgar or suggestive nature, or inappropriate behavior.
2. It is the group’s responsibility to signify their presence one hour before the competition. Dance Captains need to be present during the final rehearsal meeting to submit music, discuss guidelines, the process of the competition, and to be informed of the order of performance. 
3. Music will be accepted, saved and tested using USB Flash drive in mp3 format. No other formats will be accepted. The music compilation must be ONE track and not divided into several tracks.
4. All participants are required to sign a waiver of liability and release form. Participants under the age of 18 must have parental consent to participate in this event.
5. NON-COMPLIANCE WITH ANY OF THE ABOVE RULES AND GUIDELINES WILL RESULT IN THE DISQUALIFICATION OF THE GROUP.
